Gemma’s Egg White Pizza

Popular instagrammer, Gemma (aka @thefoodobsessedmum) has created a wonderful healthy pizza.

Keeping an eye on the calories? No need to avoid pizza. Simply trade your pizza base for Egg Whites, add a delicious pizza source and your favourite toppings and you’re good to go!


For the base:

500 Grams Eggs Whites

Salt & pepper 


For the tomato pizza sauce:

70ml Passata

1/2 tsp Garlic granules 

1/2 tsp Italian herbs

Pinch of Salt & Pepper 



80g Low fat mozzarella & cheddar

50g thick cut bacon medallions/ham

50g sliced mushrooms

70g pineapple


  1. Spray a non stick frying pan with low calorie cooking spray and heat on a low heat.
  2. Pour egg whites into pan and season with salt & pepper.
  3. Cook until it’s cooked all the way through (you can finish the top under the grill to speed up cooking process).
  4. Sauté off mushrooms & bacon and set aside.
  5. While the omelette base is cooking make up pizza sauce by mixing the passata, garlic granules, Italian seasoning, salt & pepper.
  6. Gently transfer omelette pizza base onto an oven tray and cover with the pizza sauce & all of your toppings, cook at 200° for around 15 minutes or until golden.
