Avo Salsa Burgers

Elevate the humble burger to something truly tounge-tingling and tasty.

Tangy red onion, salsa and one Happy Egg make this a mouthwateringly juicy taste sensation.


4 Juicy burgers

4 Happy Eggs

1 Red onion

White wine vinegar

1/4 Red cabbage

1 Avocado

1/2 Cucumber

1/2 pack Rocket

4 tbsp Salsa

4 Brioche buns


  1. Slice the cabbage and red onion and drench with white wine vinegar in a bowl
  2. Lightly drizzle the burger patties with olive oil and pop on a hot barbecue for 4-5 minutes each side
  3. Heat a frying pan over with a little oil, then gently crack in your eggs into the pan being careful not to break the yolks
  4. Mash the avocado with 2 spoons of salsa in a bowl, then drain the vinegar from the cabbage and onion
  5. Lower the heat and baste the top of the eggs with fat to help them cook
  6. Cook the eggs to your liking, then remove with a slotted kitchen slice, resting each one on some kitchen paper for a second or two.
  7. Toast your buns and layer your burger bun, red cabbage and onion, rocket, burger, avocado mix, more red cabbage and onion, egg and then bun.
  8. Then simply enjoy!
